Ah ha! I am quite pleased I can take anything with my crappy camera. This is on Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island, Georgia. Very cool place. There are dead oak trees on the beach. It appears the land eroded, but I am not sure. Sad to see these large oak trees laying everywhere, but also very beautiful.Related content

My crappy Canon. I did minor surgery on it a week ago and can take pictures again, but I lost all of my Auto Focus features. Only manual for me now.

Great picture, and it's great to see some more photography from you. I like this picture because it reminds me of one of the islands I visited last summer. There were HUGE trees washed up on the beach.

Thank you! We just went back there tonight as the sun was setting. We walked further than yesterday, it was breathtaking to see! These trees were everywhere, and along the way, you could see where new trees would soon become victims in a few years, as the beach is encroaching on their beautiful home. Very poignant.

Thanks. They stay where they fall. I believe they may have laws to protect them. We could see no evidence of anyone cutting them.

Well I suppose they make a great shelter for some sort of creatures. I would like to believe fairies live in them but thats just me.

The picture looks great; your camera is working nicely again. I like the comment you made about the oak trees. Didn't know oak trees made their way to the beaches, LOL. I guess the erosion eventually caught up with them. It is sad, you're right.
