This was taken with my new wide angle lens. It's the Canon EF-S 10-22mm, and I LOVE IT. It did cost a pretty penny, and it's the most expensive lens I have, but it's way better than my standard zoom lens. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.So far, all I've done is take pictures of trees. Everything else here is ugly. I live in Minnesota and there's not even snow here yet. LOL. So, enjoy the pretty trees!

DDD: THIS IS OUTSTANDING. I like tha I feel I can take part in how good this is - but we all know it's not the lens that makes a good photos. It's the photographer. Shit man, now I have to get me one too. You should look up stuff to see what kind of tricks and fun things you can do, so I can't live vicariously through you.

And yes! I should look up some suggestions about wide angle lenses. I know people use this particular lens for architecture. I'm totally going to look up more stuff! yay! great idea!

Very lovely picture. Is it bad that I think they look like nerves/veins? It looks nice with the sun shining on the bark like that. Can't wait to see more ^_^

Thank you! And I actually think that trees look very much like nerves and veins. It's very interesting how living plant tissue mimic living mammal tissue, isn't it? I just love trees!

It has snowed here a few times, but has melted. It's odd for here. Usually we have snow here, too. It makes me a little nervous, like we're going to get it really bad later. But NOTHING can be worse than last winter, so hopefully it'll be okay. haha D:
