devoir d'étude doc , trois animaux à faire. J'ai choisi le koala, le phoque et la girafe (un peu au hasard des documents que j'avais).les 3 sont à la gouache, et ils ont du me prendre un peu plus de 3h chacun
homework, three animals to do. I chose the koala, the seal and the giraf (at random, with the documents i had).
The 3 are done with gouache, and each one took me more than 3h

Sadly, I don't ever remember seeing a koala at a zoo (it's a shame, koalas are so cool!). But your artwork...It's beautiful! Its brown eyes are a great focal point (they're a focal point for me, anyways).

oh thanks! gouache is amazing, it can give very good result for the fur

I never tried the fur thing with gouache just graphic designs images mostly and pffff it was hard with that to not have yucky brush strokes showing to muck up the image

haha merci! la vraie aquarelle j'en fais pas trop non, par contre j'utilise souvent l'encre! c'est sympa à manier
c'est marrant parmi les trois j'aime vraiment que la girafe!

Nice detail on the fur. My only problem with it is that the left eye seems a bit crooked and flat.

The detail on the fur is just amazing. You have the whole concept of the texture down so perfect, too. The eyes have such a nice shine to them, and the nose just looks perfect... This is really awesome. I can't think of anything intelligent to say, it's so cool! ^_^;
