Kiba is from the manga/anime "Wolf's Rain". It's about the world ending and wolves. Kiba is the main wolf, though he can appear human, as can the others. The wolves are virtually extinct, so they can appear as humans as a survival instinct.
Larka is from the book "The Sight" by David Clement-Davies. It's about a legend among the wolves of a certain wolf that would possess a mystical power known only as the Sight, and this wold would be able to either save or destroy the world. Larka is one of the main characters.
You should check both out if you like wolves
