It's Hans Christian Andersen's 205th birthday today! Naturally, I had to draw Denny and Hans...so here they are! Well, it's Hans as a little kid and Denny introducing him to fairies and all pffft xD YEP HANS GOT AAALL HIS INSPIRATION FROM DENNERS (ok not all just the start...)IDK, I made up his appearance (hairstyle and clothes and all) pffft...and I love clothes from the 1800s xD
In my head canon, Denny used to visit Hans and hang around him as a kid, but went away for a while. Denny met with him again after he became a successful author but Hans does not remember Denny. Sad fais.

Ha actually H.C. Andersen's life story was pretty sad :/ I just finished reading my book of HC fairytales (a wonderful X-mas gift from my dad) and it had a short biography in the back of the book.
BUT I love this picture. It's a really sweet concept and the picture is wonderful.

Ah I heard of it from someone I watch and they wanted me to come for it since he's part of the staff for it. I would come to J-popcon if I knew when it was xD I'm going to Italy this summer for art so it might conflict with the schedule. Will be in Italy for 2 months x__X
