this is a drawing I did a month or two ago that I just finished putting the bg on last nightI guess this is my ode to Lovecraft
The Thing on the Doorstep is one of my fave of his collection
this is one of the few period pics I've done
I tried to make her as creepy as possible, especially the eyes, just like in the story
any fans of Lovecraft know the backstory
for the rest of you: read it! And most of his stuff are short stories, so it's great for ppl on the go like myself

That's cool. Just asked Ry is he knew who she was, since he's a big Lovecraft fan, but doesn't. We got the game Call of Cthluhu and only fans can enjoy it.

it would make a great suspense/horror film if someone could do it properly

She is kinda creepy, but she seems to be extremely decadent too! That woman probably smokes quite a bit of opium, if you ask me. And yeah, Lovecraft rules. My favorite story of his is "The Colour Out of Space".
