Description Heh, sorry for the delay I'm so busy with things I forgot to submit this piece.

I took more time with this than I anticipated lol! Probably because of changes in between drawing sessions (if you'd take a look at my scrap piece for this work, you'd see the difference). The whole drawing took about probably 6 hours or sumthin if I hadn't been sooo lazy ;D,

Right now, I'm working on the color version, but that may come at a very much later time, as this week I'll be leaving for camp soon (read journal).

With this piece I intended at first to make a character based on a "what-if" Fallout 3 was made by Interplay. Not that I dislike Beth's work on FO3 but, I was just thinking what if Beth took the original art team to work for them?

Then I decided to combine the best of both worlds; I took the 1950s concept and turn it to fit what Interplay had in mind. The armor nor the weapons (except the hunting rifle and pip-boy) on her is not found in-game btw, she is 90% fabricated from imaginationland xD. Seriously, if you find a similar armor in-game its strictly coincidence.

As a final touch, I gave her a forwards/backwards (whichever way u see it) bandana to resemble the era its set in.

The setting would be during the initial stages of wandering the outside world, a bit hardened by radroaches and mutants but still green.

Done with the Pen tool using my mouse, my tablet was used only for figure drawing and conceptualising armor.

Many thanks for the favourites and nice comments from my previous Fallout work, luv u guys much! This one's dedicated to you! Enjoy!

I love the over all style of this inked girl. The thing on the chest between the breasts looks like something that evolved from Iron Man... and to see it on a girl is kick ass! Could almost be "Iron Woman" if you had a mask to go with her. Spark did say at the end of hulk "I'm puting together a small team" lol.

Anyways, I've been playing fallout 3 on the pc the last few days... OMG its so adicting!!! The bandana she is wearing does look like one of them war girl pinups you know? LOVE IT!

I love the armor BUT 101 on her left shin is to clean in my opinion! Everything else though... A++++++ 10/10!

Haha, thank you for your kind words and praises! You are right about the 'Iron man' armor, I got my inspiration for 50s era armor from early iron man comics and the new movie.

This armor I drew does not exist in the game though, I thought of making something much more 'believable' to the setting. Its a miniature power armor customized just for women (as you can already see ), powered by a battery near hear abdomen.

I'm glad you love the bandana...it was almost an afterthought until I realised she was missing the 50s look .

The 101 is going to be replaced in the colored version with a fully painted 'grunge' look to it, so far its going well and I expect to finish it sometime this month...

I know it took longer than expected to finish what would be a 3-4 hr workpiece lol, just that time has not been on my side lately since I'm almost always not at home nowadays cuz of my obligatory National Service that requires me to stay in camp...

Thank you again for your input

Damn! Very nice lines. I like the style of using a thick outline for the main piece and thinner lines for the details.
I'll have to try that sometime..

Really makes me want to get my laptop fixed and try coloring again.... this would be something on the top of my coloring to do list

Appreciate the comment Dom , yep the thick outline over fine lines is a method i love to use on every sketch, i started doing this since I've learnt to use markers, for this piece i decided to go the extra mile and add more details.

I'd be sure to check your colored version tho when u fix ur laptop . I have mine in the works but I figured it'll be a long time before finishing it cuz I've only a day in week to enjoy home...the rest of the days I'll be training in camp. :S

Hoooooly cow this is awesome! Sooo much detail it's obscene, really. I can't imagine that only taking six hours, geebus. Wow.

Great job!

Haha, hey again Aoina naw, this did not take 6 hours, i said it would've if i hadn't been thinking on my feet or if i hadn't been soo lazy to do it .

This work probably entails about 6 hours combined together between sessions and that's a huge probably!

Stay tune for the color version!
