Description
You see, before her death (or murder preferably) she was a young Victorian-era child born with the name Adeline Abendroth. She was the youngest of 4, living in the slums of Berlin, Germany. Her father abused the whiskey that he craved, an addiction taken up shortly after Adeline was born handicapped. She had 3 brothers, who were named Johnathan, Sebastian and Raimund. Johnathan was the youngest out of the brothers that Adeline had and he was 11 years her senior and he was the one who mainly took care of her even though in that society's eyes, her mental issues was viewed as madness and disliked.
Mr. Abendroth and his sons worked in the coal mines that surrounded the area on the outskirts of the city and due to the unfair conditions of the mines and his fury when drunk, Mr. Abendroth started to abuse his family. He mainly targeted Adeline, due to her mental sickness and tendencies to speak about the "voices" in her head and other various symptoms she suffered due to the Schizophrenia she was born with. Her mother and two brothers Sebastian and Raimund ignored the child, even her pleas of help. Jonathan on the other hand, cared about her and took some of the physical abuse when he could.
This frequent abuse eventually lead to her worst suffering: When Adeline was about 5, her father ratted her out about her "madness" and was sent away to an asylum several miles out of the town and hidden among the wilderness of the woods.
Johnathan did everything he could to save her from being taken away but was stopped and separated from her with scars, wounds and bruises from the scuffle with the police and doctors.
Adeline spent five hellish years in this particular asylum, with the unfair treatment of the doctors towards her, using torturous methods to try and "cure" her of her mental illness but nothing seemed to work.
There is some good things about this story though. One is that a nurse or matron by the name of Annelie Grünewald pitied Adeline and the rest of the unlucky victims who were put in the asylum for various reasons and took care of them by giving them fresh food when she could and tending the diseased and dying of the children. She particularly took very good care of Adeline due an motherly instinct that had drawn Annelie close to the girl.
Slenderman lurked in the area, the forest being an large homeland territory of his and had grown quite attracted to Adeline, one due to his well known appearances to young children and the other her odd ability to see him, even when he has his "perception Filter" type of disguise on (You know, it how he blends into the trees without detection in my opinion lol). She never grasped the concept of him being real, nor him having the intention of stealing her away into who knows where (As he is most commonly associated with) and every time Adeline saw Slenderman, she called him her "Imaginary Friend". Due to his tendencies to "talk" via Telepathy, she always thought the "voice" of the German Myth was another one of the "voices" in her head that she always harbored.
One night in early summer when Adeline was 10, Annelie makes a daring move and helps Adeline escape the corrupted asylum, after hearing the news of killing off the child due to her being "incurable" from the other matrons and doctors. Annelie goes as far as the door of the outside and Adeline runs for her life. Unfortunately, the guards saw her running away into the wilderness and raised alarm, causing a group of one matron and several other guards to chase after Adeline.
The nurse among the men was named Matron Marie Howls and she had a weapon to silence the child- a hatchet. Howls was going to kill Adeline to prevent her from escaping into the world beyond the woods and telling the people about the truth behind the asylum walls, risking the staff to get into serious trouble.
And now, here is a quote from the original concept on how Adeline's murder played out in the view of Slenderman himself:
" Only silence echoed through the unearthly realm of the night, her dark reign spread across the skies as the moon gave only a small amount of light. The dim light spread across the forest landscape near the town of Berlin, slithering through the shadows, making the darkness retreat for the time being.
Suddenly, something moves across the ray of light from the moon in a clear opening in the forest, quick on its feet. Birds suddenly flew up in the sky, breaking the dense silence that hovered over the forest landscape and the figure pauses, taking a deep breath as he leans against the tall pine tree that shielded him from the light. He stretches, as the warm summer wind shifted into his direction, his tail coat on his ink-black suit fluttered in the breeze. As this individual stretches to his full height of twelve feet, his left hand clasps on his right elbow over his head, he towers the scene below, chuckling softly as he sees an animal scurry past with fear in its eyes as it catches a glimpse of him.
A new noise echoes through the forest, catching the figures interest as he sharply turns his white pale head in the direction of the noise, catching a glimpse of a young girl running. He chuckles once more, clasping his spiny white hands together in amusement, as he starts quickening his pace, to follow the child. He then stops cold, turning to see a group of adults running past him, a female matron and two male guards, each holding a sharp tool or weapon in their hands. He slowly hisses, his head turning in the direction of the two guards, letting them see his cold white featureless face as they ran past. His warning pays off, as the two guards saw him and yelled in fright, murmuring in fear as they fled, leaving the matron cursing and yelling at them for leaving her behind.
Satisfied, the figure smirking as he melted into the shadows of the trees with his bloodstained black suit slowly rustling in the summer wind. He reappears in front of the girl, who was cowering behind an large ash tree, her arms covering her lower legs in a curled up position. She looks up, her eyes overflowing from the tears of pain and fear she faced, and smiles, reaching out a hand up to him. Her skin was covered with raised scars and bruises, some were bleeding from recent conflicts, her frail ten year old masticated body covered with a tattered faded white hospital gown, covered in blood from her wounds. He takes her hand and strokes it, kneeling as his black tentacle like appendages formed on his back and picks her up cradling her in his arms. He starts to hum, trying to comfort this girl with a passion he rarely offers, knowing that this girl was special. As he strokes the girl's cheek, he senses something wrong with her, a mental condition within her, although he couldn't pin-point exactly what. Suddenly a snap of a twig breaks him from his concentration, dropping the girl as he turns around to face the heavily set female matron behind him, letting out a threatening hiss.
The matron ignores him, not seeing the figure before her. As she advances on her young victim, she gets the feeling of being watched as she inches closer, raising the ax she was carrying above her head. The matron smirks as the girl cries out, her soft pleads of mercy fall deaf in the woman's ears. Suddenly the scene turns bloody as the matron grabs the girl and starts striking at the patient with unforgettable force, the woman’s apron, nurse cap and expose skin is spattered with girls blood. The young child screams, her voice echoing through the forest as the woman keeps striking her with the blooded ax and soon fall silent, her mutilated body sliding against the tree. A large hissing growl escapes the suited figure's throat, as he moves in front of the panting matron, towering above her. The woman glances up and cries out, seeing his pale white featureless face glaring down at her.
She drops her weapon and starts to murmur one word repeatedly: “Slenderman”
Slendy chuckles softly, his voice a low rumble that echoes in his throat, as he uses his tentacle like appendages to pick up the terrified matron. He smiles, revealing a creepy feature on his blank empty face, and starts to constrict his victim, slowly as she sputters out prayers to her God. He keeps chuckling, as he sees his victim struggling for breath as he strokes her cheek, whispering in her ears something inaudible. He keeps constricting her, his chuckle slowly grows into an low sinister laugh. After a while of trying to fight for her life, the woman gives up and goes limp, taking her last breath. Slendy drops her, her heavy body dropping to the ground with a loud THUD, as he looks into her empty frighten eyes that stared at the stars with a sight that was no more. "
Slenderman was pretty pissed off as you can see xD;
Afterwards he wanted to leave the scene behind, to leave the two corpses in his woods so he wasn't detected by humans or in the CP world "Daywalkers"..which was also shown by the original story concept:
" Slendy's smile faded, leaving no trance of one on his empty white face as he turned to face the mutilated body. A new feeling washes over him, one that he hasn't felt in years: pity. Pity was a rarity for him to feel, especially towards a young child that he was about to take away into his forest. He looks down at his bloodstained spiny hands, wiping them on his old tattered black suit as he ponders what to do. One side of him wanted to leave, since the humans could spot him at any moment at this state of vulnerability."
In the end, he makes a rash decision and gather's Adeline's parts of her body and heads to an unoccupied section of the vast asylum that the girl once reside it. There, Slenderman runs into Annelie who was doing her chores and rounds by checking the paitents and counting them to see how many were left. She was startled and terrified, recogonizing the German Myth from the stories she heard and rumors all her life and Annelie tried to flee. He stops her, and before having the chance to hurt her, he senses her innocence- the innocence lost with Matron Howls who like the rest of the staff, was unmerciful and cruel. He manages to get some information about what happened that lead up to the murder though Annelie wasn't aware of the murder at all due to Slender holding the parts behind him in the darkness of the medical room.
Slenderman tells her what happens, oddly trusting the woman due to sensing a kind motherly feeling in her, as noticed by the late Adeline. He felt pity for the murdered child and decides to try and give her a new life: by Ressurection.
In short in what happen afterwards, Slenderman deals with the rest of the staff and the paitents and survivors of the staff-which as you would expect survived Slender's rage with some incredible survival instincts- were transferred to other various asylums in the country.
It took several months to sew the mutilated body of the girl together and add various things to help the child funtion after ressurection: such as the gears and key in her spine.
As an somewhat explanation of how the key and gears work explains here:
" ..The key is the weakest spot in combat since embedded in her spine are gears connected to her veins, nerves and various body functions. These gears turn as the key turns and keeps Ally moving and functioning. Without the key, she would be paralyzed all over and slowly die as each part of her body dies off as her body shuts down. "
During the ressurection, Slender manages to seal Adeline's soul into her own body after making a deal with some higher, more powerful being but due to an unexplained accident that causes some of Slender's powers to be copied and transferred along with the soul- turning Adeline or soon to be Ally into a hybrid.
Her brown hair turned snow white due to the pigment draining from the hair as she was given new life, as well as her skin turning a corpse grey due to the lack of blood and pigment as well.
She was resurrected on December 6th, 1895
As quoted from an essay I did a while back explaining Ally's powers:
" Ally only has weaker copies of Slenderman's powers due to a freak accident that happened during her ressurection. Even so, she only has these abilities:
-Teleportation (Only in short distances though)
-Black Tendrils (These aren't as strong as Slenderman's and are more feminine due to Ally's gender)
-Psychic immunity/abilities (Mind reading/Sensing other minds in area)
-Heightened Senses
Even with these noted abilities listed here, they are too much for a human soul and with the aggravation of Ally's schizophrenia, it has caused her to have two forms. "
The two forms refers to her Normal side (The human-est side of her that you see) and the Nightmare form (Which is an personification of Slenderman's powers that had mixed with her soul) Due to this, Ally regards Slenderman as a father figure since in her mind, and the discovery of her similar powers, she just assume that she must be related to him. In reality though, she is more "adoptive" than actually blood-related.
She always had dressed in Victorian Attire due to living during and reliving this past time. She also keeps some of her proper mannerisms.
Renamed "Ally" as a shorten version of her real name "Adeline" due to the fact of Ally not remembering her past life.
The only memory Ally has of her past is the final moments of being brutally murdered: which is always comes in a form of a vision or "nightmare"
