I don't think that he looks odd in that outfit at all. >u<
The designs on his vest are somewhat simple, though not too much and they go well with the patterns in the undervest. The repeating of some of the overvest design in the pants is a nice touch. ouo ~
However, my favorite part has to be his mask. eue <3 It's pretty.
As for his legs looking odd, that may be because his posture is stiff and rigid.
