Description
Commissioned polar bear claw. Made using a bleached polar bear claw, walrus ivory, and scrimshaw technique. For this piece I did what I call the "shadowed mountain" design in honor of the place that I moved to. The claw glows in the light, and the ivory will hold your body heat for a very long time. It measures a little more than 3 1/4 inches from tip to tip if you placed it on top of a ruler.Questions about my materials? Please read: [link]

I think they have them in the endangered species list now. Or at least the "threatened" list.
They are held together with a special pin and loads of epoxy. Nothing too fantastic about it lol.

This piece was commissioned by a client. That is they asked me to make them a special necklace just for them and I did.
There are two ways to buy a claw necklaces from me.
1. commission one. This will bring the price up a tad, but I try and get them done within a week or two once commissioned.
2. or email my business email with a request to be added to the notification list. As soon as I make a polar bear claw necklace that is not commissioned and post it for sale I will email all those interested in buying it. This takes quite a while as I'm usually doing several projects at once. the email address is: nunainua@nuna-inua.com

if it helps....I'm currently working on two polar bear claw necklaces. But they will be very different from what you have seen with my previous work. That is also the drawback of not commissioning me, as you never know what you are going to get! lol

If the client does not pay for the pendant within two weeks I put it up for sale.
