Scarlet Beta was once a part of a government experiment. When she was young, she lived in an orphanage, until the army came knocking and took her and other orphans away to a secret military instillation to become a part of Operation: Shadow. She and other orphans from all over the country where taught to become soldiers for the government, a secret army to be used in various situations that the government can't normally touch. Her identity was completely changed from her orphanage records, her first name created by a random name generator and her last name from her group/platoon designation. She was very close with her surrogate family, especially her commanding officer and big brother, Major Elis Beta. However, things changed when they found out that they were pretty much expendable when their superiors refused to ship out Team Alpha from a hotzone, causig their demise. It angered them even more when they found out that they could never leave the secret army to live a normal life. Thats when the mutiny began and they decided to take a nearby city as a hostage to let the whole world hear their plight. However, things got more complicated when Elis got his hands on a secret military weapon, a sword of unimaginable power. The sword gave Elis the power to put his plan into action, but drove Scarlet and a few others away when the sword took over his consciosness. It was during this time that she met a member of the resistance against her battalion, Inspector Joseph Nills. Together with the resistance, they managed to take down Elis and his plan of total subjugation of the US. After the Operation: Shadow fiasco, Scarlet and the few who fought against Eli were pardoned and given new identities, to live their life as they pleased. Scarlet now lives in the same city with Joseph, working as a florist, sometimes helping him with his agenda against criminals, all the while her attraction to the infamous killer growing.
