Well, I am running two D&D campaigns right now. The main plot, with these guysΒ  Β  Β and a parallel plot with happening simultaneous to itΒ  with another party. The main plot was a War coming to the crown city of the realm that our heroes learn of.
The second is the about a force of religious warriors who in the guise of good, invading their neighboring kingdomΒ Β

It's been a fun campaign. I think my players have enjoyed all the twists and turns and are often blown away at how far back I planted seeds that come to a head in the game. I get a lot of "Have you had that planned since....." and I say "yep"
