This image, honestly and truthfully, is phenomenal. It shows you the alchemist whom either became tired with turning lead into gold, or just went directly towards the path of extending his lifetime vastly beyond the span of time a normal human lives. With the featuring of the spirit faces floating about, it pulls on two different concepts of thought to arise in the minds of the viewers. Either those are spirits that he must have bartered a deal with to create the formula for nearly immortal life, or those are parts of his own soul slightly broken apart from him due to the extension of his life. If they are the latter, then that shows that with each "new" life that he acquires, his soul builds on another section to accomadate this new extension of existence. With it being the former. it shows that he must have had to do supernatural actions to obtain a method of bending out of normalcy with life. But, such are nothing more than my perception from what I hold my eyes towards. What I also see is the remarkable detail applied to the picture. Even down to his clothing articles. Such as the featuring of the lines in his shirt and it's keen ability to mildly reflect light off of it's texture. Alluringly brilliant application of features towards the entire image. What is the absolute most striking is the Alchemist's face. Outside of his stone-like pale granite skin tone, his light reflective hair colored with jade slightly pairing with steel blue, and his honey gold eyes that let's light subtly dazzle within them, his smirk stands out. I don't mean that from his softly violet colored lips. I mean that from the confidence and assured cockiness that his smirk signifies. This work was powerfully thought out and possessively created to truly showcase the vision of an Alchemist from inSOLense's mind to where our eyes can behold it with nearly precise trueness. For and from that, I give my applause. Because of it's enthralling pull that it tugs on the viewer with, I kneel myself towards it like a connoisseur amongst true greatness. Thank you for your work, my friend. For such work, I must state to you: TouchΓ©

Although the general feel of the character is not quite up my alley in just personal tastes, there's just something about your work here that draws the eye in...
I really love how you have rendered his clothing and other aspects of what he is wearing or the objects present around him. The whole piece is great in terms of atmosphere and use of colour as well. It is very believable that this alchemist exists quite comfortably in the setting in which you've portrayed him.
