Hi there, I no longer have the color pack file, sorry about that :/

Vladiftimescu [2011-03-20 17:03:42 +0000 UTC]

how do you import the themes because these are fcl files and foobar2000 is asking me for FHT files.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

insnowflakes In reply to Vladiftimescu [2011-03-21 02:12:07 +0000 UTC]

.FHT = Foobar's Default UI themes, .FCL = Columns UI. So, this is what you need to do:

Go to Preferences -> Columns UI -> Click the FCL Import Button.

sorry FTH! so what's the deal?

Sharktamer [2010-04-03 01:23:55 +0000 UTC]

After saying this theme is so good, I feel bad about asking more questions.

Do you know if it's possible to rearrange the albums in the playlist, so I can add a new album after the currently playing one for example?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

insnowflakes In reply to Sharktamer [2010-04-03 16:02:11 +0000 UTC]

Hm, to be honest, I'm not sure if that can be done (I could be wrong though). You should post that question in the Foo-Nation comment section, maybe one of its members can help you with that.

Sharktamer [2010-04-01 21:42:02 +0000 UTC]

Is there any way to have the albums added to the playlist stay in the order they are added rather than alphabetical. What I mean is, I want the newly added album to go to the end of the album art list. It doesn't really make sense for the albums to be ordered this way when they are ordered as added in the actual playlist.

Other than this, great theme, really beautiful.

insnowflakes In reply to Sharktamer [2010-04-01 22:55:42 +0000 UTC]

Put %last_modified% in the Graphical Browser's Sort field in (Right click -> Settings), and that should take care of the album arts.

As for your playlist, depend what playlist component you're using, you just need to change its Sorting definition to %last_modified%.

Sharktamer In reply to insnowflakes [2010-04-02 15:45:18 +0000 UTC]

Is there a way to get the left playlist to actually follow the currently playing song?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

insnowflakes In reply to Sharktamer [2010-04-02 16:14:34 +0000 UTC]

Try turning on the Cursor follows playback on the Playback option menu, see if that helps.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Sharktamer In reply to insnowflakes [2010-04-02 14:56:29 +0000 UTC]

%last_modified% seems to list the albums in reverse order. I used $num(%gb_playlist_number%,10) which seems to work.

Since I no longer use this skin, I'm afraid I can't help you out this time.

What were the color codes again? Your button release is gone.

The seekbar is impressing! Wow! Just made a fresh install of Foobar2000, but this skin is not resizing when I enlarge a window.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

insnowflakes In reply to On-The-Fly [2010-02-12 16:16:38 +0000 UTC]

Unfortunately, this skin isn't re-sizable. On hindsight, I probably should've made it so...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

On-The-Fly In reply to insnowflakes [2010-02-12 17:18:48 +0000 UTC]

ah, I see. Sad, because on two large monitors I would prefer a bigger-sized foobar
but anyway, a smooth and nice skin.

thedarkerone [2010-01-31 02:10:18 +0000 UTC]

I finally have it looking the way that it's supposed to...

Do you plan to do more to this theme?

Thanks again...it's one of the best that I've ever used.

insnowflakes In reply to thedarkerone [2010-01-31 20:13:28 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for the compliment. As for your question, no, I have no plan to do more with this skin. I've already moved onto something different.

insnowflakes In reply to thedarkerone [2010-02-01 18:49:31 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I've been playing with the new coverflow, it's not too bad (still missing quite a few functions though). Maybe Michael's version will address those issues.

insnowflakes In reply to thedarkerone [2010-01-29 14:23:25 +0000 UTC]

Since Arial Narrow isn't a freeware, I'm not going to distribute it. You could, however, get it from the Office 2007 trial from MS. Just make sure you install Word 2007. Good luck.

Could you tell me what to look for in the ELP and PSS that might fix it?

*Check the following:

- Splitter Settings -> Behavior -> Default Font

- EPL Settings -> Field Definition and see if the Arial Narrow is in the FONT.STYLE field.

insnowflakes In reply to thedarkerone [2010-01-28 17:58:52 +0000 UTC]

Ok, I think I know what the problem is. I see you have Arial Narrow on your second screenshot. I, on the other hand, have Arial on mine. I'm betting that while they have similar names, they are not the same. Mine came with the Office 2007.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

thedarkerone [2010-01-25 23:37:35 +0000 UTC]

It didn't work.

insnowflakes In reply to thedarkerone [2010-01-26 02:52:55 +0000 UTC]

Bummer.. since I couldn't duplicate that error, the only thing I can suggest at this point is for you to re-import the .fcl again. Hopefully it'll work.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

thedarkerone In reply to insnowflakes [2010-01-27 06:50:13 +0000 UTC]

Yep, re-importing fixed it.

However, I still can't get the font to look the same way as your screen shot.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

insnowflakes In reply to thedarkerone [2010-01-27 18:01:54 +0000 UTC]

Judging from you screen shot, it seem that the Arial Narrow isn't appearing in both the ELP and the PSS. The only suggestion I can make is to double check your font installation again.

thedarkerone [2010-01-24 23:41:12 +0000 UTC]

How can I fix it?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

insnowflakes In reply to thedarkerone [2010-01-25 20:48:34 +0000 UTC]

Try this-- copy the following lines into the Track list field in that playlist--

$if(%el_isplaying%,$font(%FONT.STYLE%,7,bold italic),$font(%FONT.STYLE%,7,bold))

$if(%el_selected%,$imageabs(0,0,150,16,%foobar_path%Skins\Snowflakes\SCPL\INFO_Select.png,nokeepaspect,,255,),)

$drawstring($cut(%Title%,32)$iflonger(%title%,32,..,),
1,-1,148,%el_height%,$if(%el_isplaying%,%PLAY.TEXT.COLOR%,%TEXT.COLOR%),hcenter vcenter mempos,
$if(%el_isplaying%,glow:0:255-200-200:0,glow:0:190-190-190:0)
)

Arial Narrow is installed.

Does this happen to yours when track names are too long?
[link]

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

insnowflakes In reply to thedarkerone [2010-01-24 21:50:59 +0000 UTC]

That shouldn't be happening. If the track name is too long, it'd be truncated and follows with a '..'. For example, instead of ΠŸΠ»ΠΎΡ…Π°Ρ Π΄Π΅Π²ΠΎΡ‡ΠΊΠ° (feat. Π•Π»Π΅Π½Π° ΠšΠΎΡ€ΠΈΠΊΠΎΠ²Π°), it should be ΠŸΠ»ΠΎΡ…Π°Ρ Π΄Π΅Π²ΠΎΡ‡ΠΊΠ° (feat. Π•Π»Π΅Π½Π° ΠšΠΎΡ€ΠΈ..

err sorry for my disability
but i can't get your skin installed on my foobar v1.0 stable
i've copied all of the components to the component folder on the foobar directory
and then go to preferences and import fcl, and restart it
but all i found just blank white screen foobar with "error script" text on it
is this incompatible with foobar v1.0 stable or something?
my bad if it's not
thanks for the advance

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

insnowflakes In reply to coffeeandteve [2010-01-17 19:55:07 +0000 UTC]

This skin was designed on v1.0 Beta5, and I've been using it with v1.0 stable for the last few weeks.

You mentioned that you copied all the included components, but did you copy all the files in the effects and Skins? The "error script" is most likely from the WSH Panel; it'll give you that message if it can't find the required image files.

so it ain't load the image files...
thank you

I've updated the file, that yellow dot on the Info page is gone. As for the Year/Genre info, go into the Splitter Settings -> Script -> Per Second, add the following line below the other $drawtextex lines:

$drawtextex(%date% / %genre%,355,37,220,12,25-25-25, left vcenter)
