Hi,
it's fairly easy. To get the "retro" look use the curves or the levels. You have to play with the colours in the curves. Normally every photo program has this option.
Just play and you will see what's comming up.
I hope this will bring you a bit forward

i did it adjusting the red channel in levels, with photoshop
