Shigaraki experiments.
Paws won’t really have the grip to hold onto the face, and aren’t big enough to cover it, so I’m thinking skulls, which are basically a canine’s hands… The bases of the skulls are busted out so they can fit better, and the ‘dad’ skull is missing the front teeth and probably roof of the mouth as well.

I think this is a really cool way to interpret his human design into canine and changing the hands to canine skulls that's just brilliant!! and adds extra creepy factor to him that fits his character perfectly!
