When I first saw his fingers, i thought for a few seconds that his hands are covered in ink from working so long. It wasn't til later i realized they are made to match his wings

Ahh, a strange-looking Thoth again! I remember something similar in a sketchdump of yours. So maddeningly confusing! But, I think I may have an idea of why he looks different.... is this maybe him way back in Ancient Egypt when the Egyptian Gods were still worshipped? Just an idea, since the Thoth we always see is the one from more current times. (Plus this one looks like he still has all his hair-feathers! 8D)
