a handful of pixel art commissions i've done in the last couple days that i'm pretty happy with!! i've missed pixel art, i've just really had no time or energy for it. until now!!four months ago i moved cross-country from austin, tx, to portland, or, to start attending art school!! i've loved every minute of it!! i had some truly wonderful professors, and met some of the most caring and beautiful individuals to befriend - so much change packed in to such a small amount of time - but i can say with confidence i'm truly happy. i've changed and i've grown in more ways than one, and i'm so proud of myself for it. a few years ago i was depressed and insecure and thought i could never be happy or have a group of friends i knew cared about me; i had no sense of direction, just a misguided idea of what could come, but by focusing on moving one day at a time i made myself get to today - and now i have all of that!! listen, sometimes i still need to take a step back and question why i have all of this... do i really deserve these amazing friends and this amazing new city? but you have to tell yourself that you earn your happiness!! even if you don't realize it!!
SO tl;dr, i've been so busy with change but i'm so happy now! happy and busy! and the moral of the story is that it gets better!!!
