Ooof, so I finally uploaded it. It took my mother ages to scan it! I was pretty anxious. XP

So this is my entry for the ANBU and Akatsuki exams of ~Hidden-Leaf-Village . I soooo want to become an ANBU Black Op (you wouldn't catch me being an Akatsuki member...I hate the lot of them, except for Kisame because he's SORT of cute).

The theme was: Sakura sad. The first thing I thought of was a wailing, weepy, moany Sakura whining about something or someone (probably Sasuke), tears everywhere, and so on. You get the gist.
But because everybody knows what crying Sakura looks like, I decided I wanted to try to convey Sakura's sadness without drawing her expression. So here's the result.
Shippuden Sakura sits on the famous bench where she saw Sasuke last and thinks...about him, obviously. Hands clenched, head lowered, the picture of grief. XD

I drew it while listening to Within Temptation's "Our Farewell".

"So sorry your world is tumbling down
I'll watch you through these nights
Rest your head and go to sleep
Because my child, this is not our farewell."

So Sasuke isn't Sakura's child, but it made me think of them anyway.

That's it, peeps. Now I can start working on my piccy of the three Sannin as kids...they were all so cute! Now the only cute one is Jiraiya...*swoons*
