Well, season 8 isn't strong on logic alltogether Not only could she have killed him, but she could have easily killed off Daenerys then and there. Even if the little troop of the Unsullied shielded her that wouldn't be enough to protect her from the vicious hits of the Scorpions. Drogon was pretty much in their range too. The war could have ended there. And Tyrion's "genius" speech "Erm, Cersei, you're pregnant, stop being Queen. Please" And this is the man who could have talked his way in or out of anything, genius and clever. His infamous scene where he led people to hide in the Crypt where the dead people are buried while they're fighting the Night King who is RISING THE DEAD PEOPLE, for the love of.... *sigh*

That's one of the saddest things - the actors ARE absolutely brilliant. They performed amazingly even the dumbest of scenes, which, sadly, were most of the scenes. This could have been such a phenomenal finale, yet...

Jupps, you're completely right. I am waiting for Mr. Martin himself to finish the books now - maybe he will bring it to a better ending.

But, on the other side - it was the best series we have ever seen yet^^

Thank you so much! Don't give up! I know how discouraging it gets at points, but it's all part of learning. At first you suck, then suck a bit less, then a bit less and so on I did a ton of photo studies at the beginning, that helped a lot with portraits and realism.

I still can't get over it! My brain is in denial and still refuses to accept the fact that the script writers have truly ruined the show at this point. I'm not even mad at the fact they've turned Dany into a mad queen. I'm not happy about it, but it's a very GoT-like thing to do and would have been quite an interesting plot development if done right. But HOW they did it feels like an insult. It's just unbelievable how one of the greatest shows of all times got absolutely and totally screwed up because of the script writers' poor skills. My last hope is the books. I'm just gonna wait to see how Martin ends his story and I'm pretty sure it's gonna be great. Then I can just erase this traumatic event of the show's finale from my memory and pretend it never happened.

Thank you SO MUCH, I have no words I've worked very hard on this piece and it just makes me so happy reading such amazing comment and that all the little hints and details I've implied are reading well. My idea for this scene is pretty much how you've described it - the dark clouds with the hints of fire are creeping from behind, bringing the payback for her deeds, turning all to ashes. I specifically included a few burning bits, one landing on her shoulder, which she doesn't see yet. A hint to the famous last "Dracarys!" words.

And thank you for the wine glass line, it just made me laugh so hard The blood on her hands is more of a generalized symbolic meaning, but I'm sure you got that
