#31Last of the inktober featuring Steve with a broken version of his usual mask.
This was a fun challenge to do, though I hope to nail it next time in 2018!

really like how you did the leaves in this piece, especially the way you did the shadow for under the chin and shading of head piece. My own style is flat I am trying to get better in the way this looks is a type of style I want to end up with one day.

Feel like I could have done better displaying what kind of injuries they were.
Some folks use red ink as opposed to black in these circumstances, I'll have to give it a shot sometime, perhaps with another character!Β

I love the thin line work here a lot idk why but it really suits the mood of this piece somehowΒ

I'm hesitant to show his full face because if I make a story/comic later it may be a spoiler.

Also I'm glad you like the thin lines! I wanted to add thick outlines but was worried it might take some details out of the leave edges.Β

Yeah I think thick lines would take out some details - thin lines really work!
