IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL.
Holiday gift numero tres! I'm so slooooooow- ;O;
Was working on Morgan's but I am so horrible at anthros amggg. I will figure something out eventuallys!
As you can see, though, this is why you should never, ever get me to draw animals with hair. I am so horribly unsure of how hair works on animals that it makes me all confused and aksdfjafdfadjk; I'm sorry if I ruined her Snewzy! :c
I can't draw Snew as epically as you can, but I hope you like this anyway! ;u;
I kind of failed at shading that tail too, but uhm. I gave up playing around with it, ahaha. I think it's a pass though, so okay. /hides/
ON ANOTHER NOTE.
I drew a more cartoon-y, exaggerated pose. 'Cause I can, and I felt like it. But mostly because it was fun. ouo;
Also I like ties very muchly, so I had to include it. =u=
LET'S ALL ADMIRE SNEW'S HUMONGOUS FLUFFTAIL. I BET IT IS SOFT AND SILKY AND THAT SHE HAS SPECIAL TAIL-SHAMPOO FOR IT.

Inkeh, this is awesome! I can't believe how much you've improved in a little less than a year (I also looked at your previous deviations, haha)! That shading's supernice though ;.; I remember seeing someone elses art like that shading style, haha. I've tried doing that like a year ago, but then I never got the hang of it, so I commend you for achieving such a wonderful feat. lD
Your shading's better. I can't stop staring at it. lD The top part of the tail could use a bit more shading, but I like it nonetheless. 8DD At least it's better than how I draw my hair 8DD

I can hardly believe it too, haha. Especially since I've had less and less time to draw lately! D; Still, I can't complain that I've improved. xD;
This is actually my old shading style and new shading style mixed together to make this style. |D I haven't seen anyone shade like me yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are similarities here and there, simply because there are so many people in the world and at least one of them is bound to shade similarly. :d
My shading is definitely getting better. : D I'm quite proud of it, actually. It helps that I love to shade, so I experiment with it more than anything else. xD;
And yeah, omgg the top of the tail was bothering me forever but whenever I tried shading it, it looked all gross and plastic-y. I didn't want to continue the fur texture because then it looked out of place with the rest of the body, but I did edit it a bit. Hopefully it looks a little better now? :0

Well then, i suggest you continue with that shading style, because it really suits how you draw! c: Well, I remember those really pro people who shade like you, but I think yours is nicer in a way because the shading doesn't overwhelm the whole piece of art, which is a good thing for me! c:
I enjoy shading, but only if I have time! So I guess your shading style takes up most of your drawing time then? o:

I'm glad you think it suits my style. I also think so! xD I've been trying so hard to find the right style to focus on as my main style, and I think I've figured out that this kind of shading & thick lines works well with the way I draw. Hooray for finally figuring something out! :b
Nah, actually, I spend the most time linearting (and it's not very rewarding... that's probably why I dislike doing it so much!). Shading like this is actually faster for me than some of my other methods of shading. Funny, though, because this is one of the most detailed ways. |D
Haha that's true! Unless I add a texture, then shading sometimes gets in the way and all. :d I actually know which way the fur flows on a canine but I tend to bend the rules a little to suit my style more. I do get a little confused about how I should leave lighted areas as opposed to shaded areas (ie. in this picture, I didn't shade fur all over the body, so I wanted to carry that over the tail but it didn't work out so well). I should probably study more skeletal and muscle structures, but I don't want to make my style too realistic (and I'm already pretty happy with what I've got so far). :b
Pffbbt because I am still an amateur. :b

Shading is actually my favourite part of making digital artz, so I play around it with more than anything else. Maybe that's how I keep practicing it... xDD
