Actually, this is so good I don't even want to criticize it, but since you put 'Advanced Critique Encouraged', I suppose I'll just say the girl's arm is a tad bit too skinny for her arm?? T__T

well i kinda agree with Shazael....it's look like the guy show more emotion and lurrrveeee than the girl*or maybe she's thinking about somebodyelse! jengjengjengjeng!*...but what the heck..it's look good enough to drool....

needs to practice figure drawings a lot more. and yeah the girl lacks emotion, cos i draw it without proper planning and i was lazy to repair it in the end. also the fact that it was last minute, i don't have the time to do so T___T

Beautiful sketch, the shading looks AMAZING! The only thing I can find that needs a little work is the girl's hand looks a little long and slightly mis proportioned and her mouth is a bit high and too far back.

and yeah, got a bit of proportional problems here and there...err let me change that. there's a LOT of proportional problems XD;;; sad but true, i noticed it more than other ppl since i worked on it myself. not really satisfied with the proportion T__T

I'm not good in drawing skills so I won't touch 'bout that. Probably most of it you've know.
Maybe the emotions didn't really work here, unless the girl is blind, then we can see the interaction.
Maybe you can make her smiling a little bit more, and her eyes to keep in contact with the feelings that the guy showered on her. Could be she's closing her eyes too, look up to his face, or make her stare at the guy's necklace (is it?) or looking at the audience.
Ngehngeh I shouldn't write more, or else people might think 'the hell this person? liek she's so good?' XDXDXD

this is certainly not the best piece i've made. in fact there's a lot of things that i am not satisfied with. it is a last minute work anyway. to tell u the truth, i actually threw it away in the sketching process cos i thought it was really ugly n proportion wise, wrong. but that night i had to juggle with loads of assignments and hav to draw for the contest as well. no other choice, i picked it up again, repair it a bit, n just head straight on with the details n shadings. walla, crappy piece XD
but again, i'm kinda satisfied with the shadings. providing the time limits
