I was just in Africa for a few weeks and completely fell in love with it. Now that I'm back in the States, I'm longing for it. This image brought back all of my joy. I love the simplicity, the coloring, the composition.... I would love this as a poster on my wall. It is magical.

This is such a good piece of art it has blinded me. I love the color scheme, its very simple but has strong contrasts blended with such a unique style. The concept is brilliant and the cartoon-esque look really makes the whole idea shine that much better, its deep on so many levels. Amazing work

Wow, you're so talented in being able to create such an amazing piece. I really like how you made some animals simply totally black, yet easily distinguishable as what species of orgnanism it is. The texture of the rock is superbly done and environment around the floating rock is effective in portraying the semi-depressing mode. I think the eyes are really awesome, how you left them pupil-less as if they have the intelligence realize the living on a floating rock is an actual problem. I just have a question: You painted two trees on the floating rock, but I am wondering why you didn't put any leaves on the trees.
