Orginal design of Balrog belongs to John Howe thugh I changed him a bit.I followed John Howe's tutorial in Drawing Workshop. <3.
Maybe later I will move it to scraps

yes this is the Balrog, your rendering is wonderful, fairy tails should not be told beyond two dimentions, animation adds a quality that exsists now where else. I am not trying to amend Tolkine and having never read the books, I always wanted Gandalf to have some sort of hold over the Balrog after there battle because he was a servent of the secrat flame or somthing like that and at the final battle just where the city was about to fall Gandalf would play his hand and order the Balrog to fight against Modror. well that was in my head and it was so cool. thanks for reminging me
