great, I will warn you though the close ups are a bit pixilated but usable as a distance shot if you see what I mean

That's not a problem at all! I'm always on the lookout for things that fit with the DAZ characters, and a bit pixilated or cartoonish is perfect. That kind of background goes much better than photos or photomanips.

I did this manip [link] from some of my own pictures that I've taken over the years, and I love it because it fit my vision of what the Island and Keep should look like--but it's 'too perfect', if that makes sense.

Just about any castle with a water backdrop is welcome to me!

You can see that the photo just sort of looks kind of out of place...

LOL... In all of my travels, I've never seen a castle on a tropical island. Close, down in the Bahamas, at a place called Atlantis, but they charge for the air in that place, so I'm afraid we only stayed one night, and the weather was horrible for photography.

I wish I could find a boat down in the Windwards that needed an old, very experienced captain... I'd be out of here for the warmth in about two shakes!

I wish...

I've had to give my sailing up, for the most part. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm getting too damned old. Bad back, arthritis in the hands, etc... sort of ruins much chance of finding a 'ride' on a sailboat these days. I'm not sure I could even hack a motor yacht any more.
