Description The back view of my blue linen gown. I have it pulled up à la polonaise, with twill tapes sewn into the inside of the skirt ... without being pulled up it's several inches longer than my petticoat! I definitely needed the shorter length petticoat for this weekend though... it's been rainy lately and I didn't need my skirts dragging in the mud

The wrinkling on the bodice back in this picture is really irritating me... it doesn't usually do that. I guess I didn't pin myself into the gown tight enough.

What pattern did you use? Or did you draft the pattern yourself?

The pattern is from Period Impressions. I changed the shoulder straps and made the bodice front point more rounded, though. Also I put more fabric in the skirt to make it fluffier

Thanks for the references.

I haven´t heard of Period Impressions before, maybe I´ll check it out.
