Description Edit: fixed the file size. It's also a jpeg now instead of a pdf, so it should download to your browser instead of your desktop, like a good little deviation.

Drew this from 'The Agenda, Part II' on pause. (Just before he gets into the ark and has Black Arachnia by her neck so he can shake her down for the access codes.)

Background is Photoshop, the rest colored pencils.
My colorless blending pencil is !

Personal note: I'm not an evil villain fan girl, but I love David Kaye's voice. BW Megatron, Animated Prime, doesn't matter. I pretty much want to have his voice's children. (Yeah, wrap your head around the metaphysics involved in that one! )

All TF's property of Hasbro, etc., David Kaye's voice property of David Kaye. Or Hasbro. Who knows.

Thank you! There was a lot of erasing and re-doing involved.

He has a son I heard, maybe you can steal him from there .

IndianaBlue In reply to Minosayia [2008-04-30 03:48:40 +0000 UTC]

Hahaha! The son is probably too young for me. (How old is David Kaye? Forty-ish?) Probably a good thing, because I can only imagine the awkward conversation where I tell him that his father's voice is one of the sexiest I've ever heard. Yeah, I think would be a deal-killer for the son right there.

Who cares if he's young.Try to make some sort of deal with him to get through to his father,or,he might have older sons we haven't heard about.Besides, you can not only use his sons, his co-workers are a likely asset to get through him too,but I wonder who are his closest VA friends?

Makes me wonder how old his wife is though.

He's exactly forty I heard.

Oh, I get it; sorry, I thought you were saying I should go for the son himself. Sometimes my train of thought is one station up and two tracks over from everyone else's.

I'll settle for getting a picture with him at next year's BotCon. I'm on too much of an I'm-too-cool-to-bug-celebrities high horse for anything else. Not to mention my I-only-go-for-stable-relationships high horse (which precludes married guys), or my I'm-only-the-wacky-fun-type-of-crazy high horse.

But if I ever met him I would definitely not be above asking for a picture with him. And maybe a hug.

I don't want to harass the guy, especially because he appears pretty good natured and genuinely patient with his fans. I just saw a youTube video of BotCon where someone is demanding (in a pretty rude tone) different voices from him while David Kaye is trying to sign the guy's stuff. David just smiles and pauses to think up funny stuff to say. He seems like a regular Gunga Din, so I say he deserves to be left in peace and so do his friends and family. I'm sure he's heard that his voice is ahh-mazing seven million times already anyway.

PS: As devoted as I am to my high horses, I will say this against them: High horses and pesky morals made it a lot more expensive to finance college and grad school. Stafford loans and retail jobs just can't quite measure up to the earning potential of Hooters or something like voyeur dorm.

Great sense of wisdom my friend.

A hug and a picture to last for a lifetime is all we ask for, even if we can't climb up that high horse, the important thing is that we once embraced it,and hoped that we will embrace it again, maybe in a year, two,or three.

But I got to give it to the people that know David Kaye as a person. There is more talent in him taht he may notknow about.

It's a Prismacolor pencil; I got it (and all my other Prismacolors) at an art store near my house.
I'd imagine that you could find them anywhere Prismacolors are sold. I highly recommend getting one if you like to use colored pencils. I love mine so much I named him Blendy.
