Personality Ascetic + Sedate + Diligent + Philosophical
Conservative - Ruthless - Impatient - Detached - Private
Mostly affected by his father, Satya learned to keep a dignified gesture always. While not necessarily enjoying being in spotlight, he does enjoy communicating and getting into others' mind, finding the quirks he could use to, most often, entertain him.
He keeps to himself his own quirks and opinions, only sharing them to some to mark their bond. He enjoys being private, keeping enough space to reel in others who are curious enough to wonder. Keep them questioning, and lost.
Though he values efforts greatly, Satya likes being practical and constantly on the move; time means progresses, steps closer to reaching its goal. At times he could be too driven to appreciate people, brushing them off and even taking drastic measures as what seemed to be necessary.
Believing that there is a greater meaning behind almost every daily things, he reflects frequently in order to grasp what it might actually speaks of. With his thoughts jumping from one to another, it is not strange at all to hear him use elongated pauses, clouded words, vague expressions.
Developing from a somewhat confused, manipulative person he was, Satya is now able to put his trust and feels more secure with himself. He opens up to friends and people he holds dear, showing a more vulnerable side he doesn't normally enclose to others (e.g. shy, spoiled, submissive, playful), and displays a variation of expressions.
At the core, he fancies humour and other (often irking) ways of entertainment. Though secretly longing for a time where there is much less of world rampages, his deep passion in weaponry and destructive technology conflicts unfortunately takes over most of his decisions.
Background
Glossing over the dodgy part, the Montgomery clan has been mass-producing as well as tailor-making armaments and ordnance alike under the name of MacGumerait Hardware. Over the gloomy past, ones that hold its name and stays true to their original business was greatly reduced leaving a single lineage, and it boils to Neil, Satya's father.
Both Satya's father and him were as excited in pursuing their goal: work together to further develop the family's business. Yet as time passed, it became clearer to them of their progress. Being a prodigy his father was, he was too far above Satya's capabilities. Indeed the boy had been doing his best, making most of his effort into learning and inventing- but his ideas were full of flaws, his prototypes were, quoting himself, rubbish. Needless to say he took it hard upon himself, and began to blame his father's impossible expectations and doubted his love. Was he a tool, only used by his father for the sake of his business? Was the affection a lie to persuade him?
Seeing the awful rejections from his son and feeling betrayed by his own ideals, Neil, too, became somewhat bitter and did not bother Satya any longer regarding the continuation of his business. He reminded himself to be content with the probability that, maybe, Satya's talent lies elsewhere.
Not being able to connect any longer to the person he had been very fond of, and believing that feelings and affection are merely illusion, Satya switched his persona to something he knew would accommodate him with what he needs. His way of answering his own bitterness was to prove to his father, that he was not a tool, that he was as powerful to control people. During junior and senior high school time, Satya was a sly rebel; pulling strings to stir his 'friends' into a certain situation as an entertainment. Being careful about making a perfect image of the innocent, he was able to dodge every accusations directed at him. There were always people who believed in him (or rather, the image he made) and defended him.
His parents originally went against his idea of enrolling into a military school, Milizia. But the boy was driven, the idea of finally able to escape from his father's reach (though a bit sad of having to leave his mother's side) was too good to not fight for.
He was quick to notice that everyone were indeed brighter, quicker, more powerful than him. Feeling that he has lost his stance in the academy (and life?), he tried to believe in the future still unknown. Slowly he tore his weak self open, collecting every pint of bravery he could gather, and began facing his weaknesses. Though there were times when he lost his friends after revealing his true self, Satya continued to work himself off to reach the top, now with a more humble mindset. In the start of his third year, he was raised into an Officer. Still not acknowledging himself, he proceed in pursuit of finding his maximum capabilities, and the meaning of his stance in life.
