Another birthday present for the wonderful Cloud Strife~ (19th August)

I'd also like to dedicate this to my good friend , who has endured some tough times lately, and whose encouragement has kept me going on this picture. Thank you! <3333

I'd hazard a guess at possibly >30 hours; most of the time put into this was before I had an art tablet of my own, in my awkward transition to digital artistry :3

Thanks~ First it was going to be a plain old sunset, than I did the clouds and just kept adding more and more to make it look more interesting, like the blue flames and the tendrils of darkness from the sky. Drawing stuff in half-darkness is very fun xD

I like to draw dark pictures to But it's just hard to draw dark pictures on the day when the sun is shining right in your computer screen. -.-'

I have one mid-sized window that faces out into my carport >.> So I hardly get any light. I guess it doesn't help that I have two pictures stuck on it either. lol
