For a moment, one feels sorry for the man sitting with his pushcart by the side of the road. Modern Cars and SUV’s passing by bumper and apparently he is a relic of the past.

But look again, his expression is not of unhappy resignation, but more of intense observation like a hawk.

At the end of the day, he has the last laugh. Sitting outside the old medina entrance, where it is impossible for cars to navigate the narrow maze of alley. He and his trolley cart are the only way to take consignments, luggage and deliveries into the medina.

And as long as the medina exists, so will he.
