Description I was really pleased with finally getting a shot of this shy bird - usually flies out of range and doesn`t re-appear until you`ve left the aviary!!!

These guys are apparently very popular cage-birds - amazing talkers, or at least so I'v heard.

Wonderful shot, and I just love love love Mynas!

Their speaking abilities make them more than interesting, I've been able to talk to one in a zoo-- he kept chattering about for like half an hour.

Very beautiful, colorful shot.

my pleasure.
I hate when you want the best shot and it ends up blurring, but it always wonderful when you get a good shot. Anyways, great job.

it looks like a beo (indonesian bird), some people have them as a pet

What a great name - beo I will have to remember that for quizzes...

I suppose they are quite talkative - would make a great pet

Thanks I was really pleased to finally capture this elusive bird - took five visits before I managed it (just as well I was actually going there for the big cats!)
