Wow, god i've seen many times people denying kaworu's gayness. Seriously, this is just an anime, no one in the staff said he can't love like people do, moreover many magical beings in anime fall in love with humans. it's generic so why he can't? lol.

I know this was meant to be a bigoted comment, but it just made me lol. If you're letting your kids watch EVA I have a feeling they're going to be far more scarred by the other 99% of the show that isn't Kaworu being gay. Like, you know, everyone exploding into a sea of Tang and giant robots beheading people.

Indeed, especially since a) kids knowing that gay people exist won't "turn" them gay and b) Kuwaru's not a human, he's just taking on the form of a boy, so even if he had a thing for Shinji (which he didn't imo - he just admired Shinji and saw through him that humanity had good qualities), it still wouldn't be a homosexual relationship anyway.
