Full view to protect endangered species!

I had some weird idea to make a bloody nose turning into the lipstick for the girl.

X put her hair up and she ended up looking like a boy, and she has really thin lips, so it didn't really come across like I wanted to. But she looked so perfect that I pulled the focus back and went along with it anyways.

I'll probably try this again someday soon to get the actual idea across I wanted. For now though this beautiful shot of my friend will have to work.

I gotta go do my taxes now. Blah.

I don't think she looks like a boy; but personally I think that even if she were, the androgyny/ambiguity of the model's gender makes the photo more appealing.
By the way I have been looking through your gallery and I find your concepts stunning; and I must say I enjoy reading your artists comments as much as I enjoy your lovely work.

It was awhile ago so I can't remember if it was two or three. But it was at least two hot lights from home depot costing total of $60 for both. Basically those flood light things for back yard or construction. I hung a white bed sheet between the light and the model. One on each side about a foot in front of her. and the third light I might of used is another hot light next to me covered by a sheet or something to act as a softbox.

This happens to me a lot when I wake up with a bloody nose. It likes to pool around my face so sometimes it is almost like a half mask out of blood and matted hair.
Pretty gross actually.
