I usually don't post photos of WIP but i just had to post this one because it has teeth! Tiny, sharp teeth

I am making the entire body - the long coiled part is the spine/tail, one arm is done, rib cage is half done and i have to make a leg, joint connections, more spikes for the spine and the backing because it should look like an alien fossil. Half embedded in stone, or in this case sheet silver. I won't be sticking to the original alien 100% though. Probably more like 50%. And i really hope i get all the proportions and parts right

Ooh, I love seeing WIP pieces.

The top of the head is a low dome 1/2 round wide wire, i have bent it (which was very difficult to do), filed it into shape and soldered the bottom (wrapped) part of the head to it. The teeth are 20ga flattened wire and i filed each tooth with a needle file
