to me, Matsuri is really the only girl for Gaara cause, to me, she's more like Hinata to Naruto like she is to Gaara cause she has strong feelings for him and are real, she also didn't see him as a monster like Hinata did to Naruto. I don't know why so many people hate her, she's not a bad person, she's just got a big crush on him. Also, Kishi tends to draw girls that looks like some guys' moms, Matsuri does look like Gaara's mom, Hinata to Kushina, and Sakura to Sasuke's mom.

She def is the only girl that really makes sense with Gaara...:/ He doesn't seem interested in anyone at all and she's interested in him. I liked her until she went all fangirly-mode She reminded me of young sakura and Sasuke.This is very cute, though!

GaaMatsu never ceases to appeal me. She's the only girl that can get along quite well with Gaara (in my point of view). No offense to GaaSaku/GaaHina lovers, though. Still, I love GaaMatsu the best. ='3
