This is a new OC of mine, Cecilia. I've got a rough idea in my head, but basically she is an apprentice alchemist on an island kingdom that is dominated by jagged mountains, lakes, and rivers, where people mostly get their sustenance from the ocean or the lakes and rivers.

In order to make a specific potion, she needs to collect a rare herb that only grows in the deepest parts of lakes and riverbeds. Diving to the bottom of the lake and finding one is only half the workout; the other is yanking the plant out by the roots. If it is cut off with a knife, the herb will be ruined and the potion won't work. Cecilia has to yank it out of the lakebed, roots and all, and she wants to get it on one go no matter how badly she wants to come up for air.
