yeah Iron man 2 and 3 came out when I was going through a tough time in my life and I've never even finished 2.

Harley was only re-incorporated into fandom/canon until recently (to the point where reviews of the movie even asked who "that funeral guy" was), and Nebula's close to Tony's age... LOL.
Still, I have a friend who explained that a bunch of people who idealize families this way, as a result of not having good ones, daydream about having a bunch of parents and siblings because to them, *that's* being happy and close-knit... so, that's sad, but I can respect where these ideals come from now that I understand the motivation a little more.
It's just nice to see platonic love more represented, so thanks for that!
