Description
I did this for the Leilani Joy collaboration contest, I hope I get in.

So it's mostly watercolor and colored pencils, but there is also some gold ink, white gel pen, and iridescent watercolor medium (it's in the hair, can't really tell).

I got new watercolors (because I can't stop myself from buying them), it was more fun to mix my own skin tones, and I feel it looks better.

So her name is "Thasos" because that's the Greek word for "forest". I like to think of her as a forest spirit/entity, and I really tried to emulate a sense that she had potential to be wild (with the face and arm paint), but also that she was eerie (blank stare with no pupils) and tranquil (holding a bird).
