Description "THE CAROUSEL” is another addition to my Carnival Art Project. This image pays tribute to “THE CAROUSEL” and it's painted horses. The Carousel is a carnival and fair must for both young and old. I am fascinated with the colors, sounds and smells of Carnivals and Fairs. In these next few images I will try to bring you a little slice of Americana. I do hope you enjoy.

This is amazing. I have a photo of my own that looks so much like this, I would swear it's the same carousel. Do you remember where you took this?

Would love the opportunity to see your photo. Mine was taken in Sprigfield MA at the Big E Fair if you are on the East Coast it is possible that it could be the same as Fairs do travel. I am very pleased that you enjoyed my work

I will look for the photo and see if I can post it, although I think it was taken at a carousel at a beach in New Jersey. The horses, however look just about identical. It's amazing.

Wen i was little boy i read books on this fun magic ride but i never get chance to ride i always dream i can ride one day but so many years pass now and i still never get chance to go to ride ...i still dream about it maybe one day i can mak dream come true. thank you this foto it bring happy time to my life

Color! Definitely color. I love carousels because of the combination of colors, lights, music and movement. I wish one could capture all of that in one picture... Lovely piece

wonderfull...I bet you have to add some focusing effect to the other image to lead the eyes only to horses...They are so vivid and cheerish!...

No special effects at all my friend not to skilled in that department for the most part all of my photography is natural.

Really neat! I like the colors. I think that's why I like the color version the best. The contrasting colors help separate the horses which helps the illusion that they are each struggling to win.

Thank you very much glad you enjoyed it. I agree with you in regard to the color keeping the horses seperated. With this image I do think the color is better. The other "WINNERS CHOICE" I am torn between color and sepia (kind of like apples and oranges) THANKS AGAIN
