Other Notes: I do know that for an appaloosa she is a rather tall mare, it is due to selective breeding of tall genes. Her great great great great grandsire was a draft horse mix, therefore the large size was brought into her gene pool. Her foals will most likely also have this height gene, although it is now a rarer occurrence in her gene due to the fact the gene is no longer strong and there is a 1 in 5 chance the foals will carry the gene and a 1 in 20 chance the foals will have the gene activated.
