Wire angel

The palm of a hand holds this beautiful angel.

Art is Always been my main focus of expression. This was my way of trying to deal with inevitable loss due to a battle against cancer of a loved one. Although I love working with wire and I am working with it a lot, this is actually my very first wire sculpture. With countless of hours I handmade this unique piece. I used copper colored and black colored steel wire. This angel sculpture is holding a butterfly and her legs turn into branches surrounding a large 10 cm / 4 inch dark blue crystal ball wich is beeing held by an open hand. All surrounding it are little details like flowers and little butterflies of swarovski crystal and glass beads.
