When I was young, my mum would collect dolls like these and put them in my room when she came around. Mind you, I was a child then. I got so scared of them I had my parent move the shelf they were on on the long wall & move my bed there, so I could huddle right in the corner to not let them "see" me, as they would be right above me, hidden by the shelf.
