Very nice.
I'm not too keen on mixing animal parts together, but under the circumstances..
It is a very beautiful piece.

Thinking about making something like this.
Found a headless woodpecker a week ago, it's been sitting in my freezer since.

This is amazing! Real nice job joining the two <3 Oh,and by the way,how come there is the little blue band on it's front leg? (Or well, how come you kept it on?)

(woah this is very old i know xD)
I think it's because it's from a breeder, and so they had a band around them to keep track of either the fact that it was theirs, or the gender - blue may denote a male bird. OvO

sorry about that

No matter how many times I see this picture, I'm always STUNNED. Tis one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. I love the concept, the animal decisions, the positioning, ALL OF IT!

Flawless joining of the two. I'm currently learning taxidermy and this piece in particular is one of the reason why I'm learning the trade.
Truly gorgeous work!

This is the oddest thing I've seen yet (I'm kinda new to taxidermy)! It's awesome, though!

This is extremely creative, I normally wouldn't like Taxidermy (because the animals are dead. -shivers-) but this is just completely artistic. <3

I am always glad to see someone else accept death, and not only that, but feel fascinated by death as well.
I am trying hard to get into taxidermy but I haven't been able to find any ethically-sourced pelts.

I completely agree. I get a hard time from people that don't understand the work I do, but if they take the time to listen I can almost always educate them.
Death is part of life, as simple as.. what I do with the remains allows the image of the animal to be part of us for many MANY more years to come in hopes of educating the next generation
