No one lives in Times Square, there are no craigslist posts for "Right in the Action, cozy Times Square APT. -no broker fee". There are no grocery stores or parks. Does life or lifeless drudgery occur in the coffee shops there? It's an advertisers play land. It's a tourist-screwing detour for cab drivers. I think if the sidewalks were like the moving ones at many airports it would help people see the truth of the square much better. Lifeless machine with a touch of off-the-shelf culture.
