My first entry for 's LoZ-dungeon-contest!
valasedai.deviantart.com/journ… Well, it actually isn't my favourite dungeon, but it's my favourite place in OoT dungeons.
And I did it first because it was the "easiest" one among my choices. So to say, a fun work.
In addition it's my work with the most bricks in. Exactly from October 16th 2010 to October 16th 2011 I drew/painted 3366 bricks. This one has 2071.

Danke nochmal. Ja, der Dungeon hat mir fast mehr Angst gemacht als der Schattentempel. Aber das Bild war wie eine Therapie(vermutlich waren es die Ziegel lol). Bin jetzt geheilt und kehre immer wieder gerne dorthin zurück.

There was always a great deal of mystery surrounding the various temples in Ocarina of Time, but none intrigued me more than the Forest Temple. This picture brings back a lot of memories. Nice work!

True. It used to scare me a lot because you do get a glimpse on the sky but are still locked in - and there are the Wallmasters of course, but now that I think about it(and dealt with the dungeons in the tinies details due to my complicated fanfic), I must daresay its structure in combination with interior details does indeed create a certain mystery.

Even though I love the Forest Temple, it's one of the few places in all of the Zelda games that legit scared the crap out of me. Beautiful, but creepy.

Gosh why does everything with you have to be a braintease Illy? I take one look and go, wow I never realized just how (not) out of place the Forest Temple looks! It's like a Hylian fortress that got consumed by the forest... like...
And then I cursed because plot.
It's very pretty, the forest fireflies were a nice touch. Adding it makes it look more like it's the Temple at rest and less like the dark and danger filled Temple. I suppose this would be those quiet moments of Saria's guardianship.
