Description Dandelion - maslačak - photographed in mid January in my garden, did not see flowers prior to this.
Not sure if this could go to macro, maybe `hellfirediva will be able to help: this is not a crop (only sides were cut off to make square format) and it was shot with macro lens, but that's actually irrelevant

when i was taking shots of snowdrops, i saw three of them in my garden. very odd as we had snow and clod this winter (as should normally be) and previous winters that were sometimes much warmer there were no flowers at all.

Perhaps they need the cold to trigger something in their cycle.

that's what i think, but then they do come out even after a warm winter...maybe it's the increase of light, not sure.

ja sam za svoj fotic skupljala lovu i birala i odlucivala 3 godine i jos mi je tata dao lovu (vratila sam mu iako nije ocekivao, al sad bum opet posudila). zao mi je da nisam puno prije imala love vise se posvetiti fotografiji, u osnovnjaku sam sa tatom i ujacima malo fotkala i razivijala c/b, al onda je ponestalo lovi i tako kompakt po kompakt, digitalac, pa SLR

zakon zakon, meni se zapravo buraz bavi fotografijom...premda on i dalje tvrdi da nije fotograf Tak da sam se ja nekako od početka furala s njegovim fotićem...dok on nije uzeo novi itd. Fotić koj sam nasljedila prošao je sve i svašta...dok jedne noći (ovo ljeto) nije ispao mojoj frendici... Sad sam dobila (kao neka donacija od nekih fotografa from pu) isti takav model al nešto nije u redu s njim..."Nismo se našli" valjda Tako da...sad planiram uzeti i ja nešto novo...

nadam se da ces si uskoro moci priustiti svoj vlastiti fotic po izboru. pazljivo odaberi, pogledaj si recenzije, savjetuj s burazom. ne znam znas li da postoji i hr foto portal [link] gdje ima svega i svacega ali ima i puno super ljudi koji kuze stvari i voljni su pomoci.

thanks...it was a surprise in my garden few days ago, it was cold and snowy and now - dandelion?! i loved the macro lens dof effect
