I swear I'm hating this one. Kind of liked it before scanning but then...AAAARGH. Hate scanners. Hate hate hate. HATE. Lets burn them ALLL. B<Then, why are you submitting?, you ask. Because I'm an idiot who loves submitting stuff only to delete it 2 hours later. haa!
Either way, scanner rage aside, this was supposed to be one of *treeworshipper 's characters, whose name I...don't know orz. Sorry~ I didn't know his colors either, so ended up going crazy - I know it looks like I was high or so. But,as usual, no sober color picking here. It's my karma. Quite possibly.
So, Treeesssiiieee!❤ I'm not really "hoping you like it" because... it obviously sucks, but just wanted to let you know that I've triiiiiied /sobsob. I'm so sorry.

This is lovely! But yes, scanners are so freakishly evil a majority of the time 
I love your style, so please submit more and DON'T delete them! Traditional art is so wonderful when all the scanning and crap is out the way XD Have you tried adjusting the settings on it, though? (or even adjusting the balance in photoshop or something?)

Yes, I did. Actually, the pic I submitted here is the result of quite a lot of time playing around in PS. What's really weird, though, is that my scanner only kills colored pencil artwork. Watercolors, markers or graphite stay pretty okay. D: Tell me about being selective. lol P:

You're crrraaazeh. No really. Because this looks really bad, specially because scanning the picture completely "removed" all the details I had been working on. ;__; I don't know how you traditional artists are able to submit such clean work, and with such bright colors. I really can't, no matter how hard I try - and after adjusting everything in photoshop it's almost like a different image from the original ;;

i know that scanners eat colours and details. it's like their favourite meal. =3=;;
i'm lucky that i have an epson photo scanner. it's relatively nice to pics. ^^ ;; ~
but there are still so many details to see in the pic and also the colours rock so hard! ;3; ~

I was just excited because I always just see her blandest of images in art history books, and to see something similar in an updated style is refreshing.
