I recently learned that Redwall author Brian Jacques had passed. Jacques was a heavy influence on my anthro interests, as I started reading his books when I was only 10, starting with Mattimeo. I felt I needed to do something to honor him.

For this picture, I wanted something simple, something solid.
Here is April and Rustle. Rustle is an old character of mine, based from my interest in Redwall years past. In Rustle's story, his father is killed, and he sought revenge, hence the tombstone.
And I put April here because, even though she's rather unrelated to Redwall, for all I know, I may have never created her without Jacques' influence.
