By far my favorite card! I just love pulling this baby out when someone is about to curb-stomp me. Suck on divine retribution, bitches! MUHAHAHAHA!

I've had some mechanic ideas and such for Magic for sometime now, but the guy you email instantly deletes those types of emails... What a prick. Unopen to listening to the publics ideas for card mechanics...

Sorry, I went on a rant, there. It's pretty cool to find an MTG artist on here. I will be watching.

Gorgeous art work, how long does a piece like this take you, and do you have any tips or tutorials for a complete beginner?

20-30 hours. Make a lot of photographic reference and use it. Study human body. You might fake rocks with a fancy brush, but you won't fake organic shapes. Don't be a slave to detail, some roughness gives life and vibrancy to whatever you're painting. Make sure to saturate your colors, nothing ruins a piece like making it grayed out for no reason.

Yeah, it was probably more like 10-12 hours for this one, though there wasn't much ref I used for this. Just the left hand I think.
